

Bombay High Court reprimands BCCI: The Bombay High Court has given a major blow to the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI). The matter is to the former IPL franchisee Kochi tusker Kerala. The BCCI petition has been rejected by the High Court. The court has asked the BCCI that the court should give Rs 5 crore to the former franchise.
The court has favored the owners of the Kochi tusker and said the mediation decision is correct. In the order issued on Tuesday, Justice R Chhagla has said, “There is no ‘clear illegal’ in the mediation decision, which requires the intervention of the court.”
BCCI should cancel the amount: Mumbai High Court
The court has asked the BCCI to pay the money. The Kochi Tuschers Kerala Franchisee Ronda was given to a group led by Sports World (RSW). It was later run by Kochi Cricket Private Limited (KCPL). The team participated in the IPL in the 5th, but next year, the BCCI’s contract was canceled.
This is a passion for the BCCI canceling the contract due to the CCPL and RSW failed to submit the required bank bank. The KCPL and RSW have started the mediation proceedings in 2 and the end of the agreement was found to be wrong. In the 5th, the mediation tribunal had given the results in their favor.
KCPL has been ordered to pay more than Rs 5.5 crore with interest and cost and RSW to return more than Rs 1.5 crore. The BCCI had challenged these orders in the High Court.
