Norwegian forward Marius Broholm (20) has signed for Lille OSC from his formative club, Rosenborg. He has signed a five-year deal with DOGUES and is the first element in a rebuild of the club’s forward line.
Lille need to rejuvenate their forward line this summer. Jonathan David has already left on a free transfer, Chuba Akpom’s underwhelming loan from Ajax has come to an end, Rémy Cabella has left, and Edon Zhegrova is also expected to depart amid interest from Napoli.
Broholm, a versatile forward, is the first element of that rebuild. The Norway youth international, who came through the ranks at Rosenborg, has 19 goals in 56 games since making the step up to the first team. Overall, since turning professional, he has played 86 matches, scoring 26 goals.
Broholm has signed a five-year deal, tying him to the club until 2030. Whilst the value of the transfer is undisclosed, The team believes it to be worth around €5m.
