
UP Weather: The weather has suddenly changed in Uttar Pradesh. On Tuesday, there was heavy rain in many districts, which brought relief from the scorching heat. The temperature has also dropped by 2 to 4 degrees. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has given another relief news to the people of the state. This time the monsoon is going to knock in Uttar Pradesh before time. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon will become active in the state from June 19 and with this the series of heavy rains will begin.
Alert issued in eastern and western UP
The Meteorological Department has informed that due to the air pressure rising from the Bay of Bengal, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in eastern Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, warning of rain with thunder and lightning has been issued in many districts of western UP. A yellow alert has been issued for these districts for Wednesday. The effect of monsoon will be seen in the entire state on 19 and 20 June and there is a possibility of heavy rain.
Strong winds expected
Strong winds can blow at a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour in many parts of the state. Along with this, a warning of thunderstorm has also been issued. This effect will be more especially in the districts of Purvanchal, which will gradually move towards central and western UP.
Orange alert for rain till June 22
After the entry of monsoon on June 19, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in the entire state till June 22. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert. Very heavy rainfall has also been predicted at some places. During this time, the temperature will fall further due to storm and rain. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature recorded in Orai was 42.8 degrees Celsius, which was the highest in the state.
It will rain in these districts
On Wednesday, there is a possibility of rain at some places in Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Baghpat, Noida, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Amroha, Sambhal, Badaun, Kasganj, Etah, Hathras, Aligarh and Mathura in western UP.
Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in Saharanpur, Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Farrukhabad, Hardoi, Kannauj, Mainpuri, Firozabad, Agra, Etawah, Auraiya, Jalaun, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Banda, Kanpur, Fatehpur, Unnao, Lucknow, Rae Bareli and Amethi.
Heavy rain forecast in Purvanchal
Heavy rains may occur at many places in Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Bahraich, Shravasti, Gonda, Barabanki, Ayodhya, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, Kaushambi, Chitrakoot, Prayagraj, Ambedkar Nagar, Azamgarh, Jaunpur, Sant Ravidas Nagar and Varanasi.
Extremely heavy rain and lightning warnings have been issued in Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Deoria, Mau, Ballia, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Mirzapur and Sonbhadra. People in these areas have been advised to remain alert.
