Ajay Devgn’s Son Of Sardaar 2 Set To Clash With Janhvi-Sidharth’s Param Sundari?

Ajay Devgn is all set to return to comedy with Son of Sardaar 2, the sequel to his 2012 action-comedy hit. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film features Devgn reprising his iconic role as Jassi. On Thursday, the actor unveiled the first poster and announced the film’s release date.

The actor made the announcement on Instagram by unveiling the official poster. Dressed in a turban and blazer, Devgn wrote, “The Return of the Sardaar #SOS2 in cinemas near you on 25th July.” The sequel comes nearly 12 years after the original.

This time, Mrunal Thakur stars opposite Devgn. Recently, she posted a behind-the-scenes clapboard photo on Instagram, teasing fans with the caption: “SCENE 49 SHOT 5 TAKE 1 ACTION!” The film also brings back Sanjay Dutt, now playing a Don. Sanjay Mishra replaces Vijay Raaz in a new comedic role. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the sequel promises a blend of action, drama, and comedy.

Son of Sardaar 2 vs Param Sundari

The Return of the Sardaar is produced by Jio Studios, Devgn Films, and T-Series. It’s scheduled to release in theatres on July 25, the same day as Maddock Films’ Param Sundari, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor.

Param Sundari, directed by Dasvi fame Tushar Jalota, is a cross-cultural love story between a North Indian boy and a South Indian girl, produced by Maddock Films.

Up next, Janhvi Kapoor stars in Homebound with Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa, and in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari alongside Varun Dhawan, Rohit Saraf, Sanya Malhotra, and Maniesh Paul.
