For Class 10, about 53,000 pupils showed up, and for Class 12, almost 50,000 applicants showed up. The dates of the 2025 RSOS exams were April 21–May 16, 2025. Exams were postponed in six districts: Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Phalodi, Barmer, Sriganganagar, and Jodhpur because of tensions along the India-Pakistan border. Exams were delayed from May 28 to May 30, 2025.
