'I saw Conor McGregor nightclub 'punch'... this is what happened next'

Witnesses have recalled exactly what transpired after footage emerged appearing to show .

On Tuesday morning, at the Pacha nightclub, footage shared by allegedly showed McGregor appearing to peer down to address an unidentified man in the middle of the dancefloor. Merely moments later, the 36-year-old Irishman appears to throw two punches - connecting with the second.

The reveller eventually fell to the floor and witnesses have since come forward to share their account of what allegedly happened. One individual - who saw the whole thing - claimed there did not appear to be any consequences for the former dual-weight champion.

“Clearly something’s been said to annoy him and he’s reacted very badly. The guy seemed to fall to the floor, and his mates came to pick him up and get him away," he told The Sun. "There [didn't appear to be any] consequences for Conor, but the guy he punched was taken away, and I didn’t see him again."

Another said: "Someone came up to them and when Conor hit him, about five people fell to the floor as the guy stumbled back. It was a bit like bowling pins, but the guy was really shaken by the hits. About a minute later, the bouncers came and got him on the back and took him out of the club, because he had annoyed Conor. It was right before close anyway. There was no messing around; they just removed him. Conor left through the garden a bit later; he didn't look very happy that they got into a fight."

The violent altercation came hours . The 'Notorious' sported red shorts, a cap and sun glasses while puffing on a cigar. Price shared a picture of the pair on her page with the caption: "You legend," after the UFC star tagged her in his own story and said: "Forever." Tottenham defender and Austria international Kevin Danso also posted a picture with the former dual-weight UFC champion.

Soon after the alleged incident, uploaded to his various social media accounts. On Wednesday, in a post uploaded to X - formerly known as - he posted: “You won’t speak bad about my country and its people and that’s ever. Vote McGregor.” A few hours later, the 'Notorious' posted several photographs of himself, including one with a group of men to his Instagram story, alongside a snap of himself underneath a photograph of Al Pacino in the 1983 film Scarface.

It is not the first time McGregor has lost his temper whilst partying in Ibiza. Three years ago, he stamped on a fan's hat after a fan threw it towards him asked for him to sign it while he was celebrating his 34th birthday. McGregor gave the individual a sarcastic thumbs up before throwing insults at the fan.

McGregor has not fought inside the cage since . He was due to make his UFC comeback last year against Michael Chandler, . It remains to be seen whether the Irishman will return to competitive action. That said, he has hinted at a possible return after uploading several videos of him training over the last few weeks.
