Kohli and Rohit announced his retirement from Test cricket last month, after which the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) appointed Shubman Gill as the new captain keeping in mind the future.

Cars said in Leeds on Wednesday, “Obviously you know that Kohli and Rohit’s absence is a huge loss for their batting order.” He is an experienced player for many years and you know that world class batsman. ”

He said, “But the depth in Indian cricket and the kind of players coming in Indian cricket, you know that there is no doubt that they will create a very strong XI and will be ready for whatever challenge we present.”

The series will begin on Friday with Leeds Test.

Fast bowler Cars said that his bowling attack will try to take advantage of a little inexperience of the Indian batting order based on the nature of the pitches.

Cars said, “They have level players. It depends on how the surface is. I think any batsman you are bowling, you know that there is more likely to be dismissed from the new ball or on the initial 20 ball.

He said, “So whenever we get a chance to dismiss any batsman of his top order, we will adopt a strategy and process against him as soon as possible.”

He missed the Champions Trophy after being out due to toe injury earlier this year but has now recovered from the injury.

England will land in the first match with their lowest experienced bowling attack in recent times in which James Anderson has retired while the pair of Jofra Archer and Mark Wood are injured, which will have to take additional responsibility for bowlers like Cars and Chris Woakes.
