The monsoon season has started and with this, moisture and viscosity in the atmosphere increases. In such a situation, the method of running air conditioners should also change. Many people use AC for years, but they do not know that AC has some special modes and settings for the monsoon.
If you use them correctly, then the performance of AC will be better, you will also save electricity and you will also feel cold.
1. Use of dry mode in monsoon is necessary
The dry mode given in AC is especially for the rainy season. By turning this mode, AC absorbs humidity from the air of the room. This reduces the humidity and makes the cold look more effective.
How to know dry mode?
This mode is often visible from the icon of “water drop” on the remote.
2. 2. Use Auto Clean Mode
Monsoon is high moisture, causing bacteria or mildew inside the AC. To avoid this, use auto clean mode given on remote.
When you are about to close AC, then turn on this mode-it helps in drying the inner parts of AC and keeps it clean.
3. 3. Sleep mode will get better sleep
During the rainy season, there is no need for much coolness at night. If AC continues to cool down, then you may get a feeling like “chill”. So use sleep mode.
In this mode, AC increases its temperature by 1 degree every hour, causing the room temperature to remain stable during the night and you can get deep sleep.
4. Do check the drainage system
On the dry mode, AC drains more water. Therefore, it is very important to clean the drainage pipes and outlets of AC in the monsoon. Otherwise, there may be a problem of leakage or water accumulation.
Essential tips at a glance:
Turn on dry mode, especially in humid days.
Sleep mode keeps a balance in coolness at night.
Auto clean mode does not rest inside AC.
Keep the drainage system check and clean.
