Celebrating a Milestone: President Droupadi Murmu's 67th Birthday
Bhubaneswar: On Friday, Odisha's Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and the Leader of Opposition in the state Assembly, Naveen Patnaik, extended their heartfelt wishes to President Droupadi Murmu as she marked her 67th birthday.
Majhi praised Murmu, highlighting her as a beacon of women's empowerment and a source of pride for Odisha. He noted, "Your life exemplifies resilience, commitment, and achievement. Your journey from a humble tribal background to the esteemed Rashtrapati Bhavan serves as an inspiration for all Indians. Your humility, sense of duty, and dedication to the nation are commendable models for us all," in a message shared on ‘X’.
He also offered prayers to Lord Jagannath for her health and longevity, expressing hopes for India's continued progress under her guidance.
Former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also shared his warm birthday greetings for the President, wishing her a long and healthy life. He stated, "Warm birthday wishes to Hon'ble President Droupadi Murmu Ji (@rashtrapatibhvn). May you be blessed with good health and a long life," in a post on ‘X’.
