Actor Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband and businessman Sunjay Kapur died of a heart attack while playing polo in England on June 12. He was 53 years old, and many people in the industry are saddened by his demise.

A paparazzi video has now surfaced on Instagram that shows Karisma in a white suit offering floral tributes to her ex-husband at the funeral. Karisma and Sunjay's children, daughter Samaira and son Kiaan, were seen next to her. They were seen getting up from the ground. Many well-wishers and family members were seen at the funeral. Sunjay's last rites were performed at Lodhi Road Crematorium in New Delhi. Meanwhile, Karisma and Sunjay's son Kiaan lit the funeral pyre of his father and also performed all the rituals.

Even though there were fights between Karisma and Sunjay while they were together, the actress looked emotional at her ex-husband's final rites. Along with this, both her children, Samaira and Kiaan, were also seen crying. Karisma was also encouraged by her sister Kareena and brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan.

Prayer meeting to take place on June 22

Earlier on Thursday, Karisma was spotted at a private airport in Mumbai with her children as they headed to Delhi to attend the funeral. A few hours later, Karisma's sister, actress Kareena Kapoor, was spotted at the airport with her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan. Meanwhile, according to a note circulating on social media, a prayer meeting will be held at Delhi's Taj Palace hotel on June 22 between 4 and 5 pm. The note is signed by his mother, Rani Surinder Kapur, his wife Priya Sachdev, her daughter Safira, and Azarias. It also carries the names of Karisma and her children.

Sunjay Kapur suffered a heart attack on June 12 during a polo match in England. Reports were claiming that the heart attack was caused involving a bee, which stung him in his throat. However, there has been no official statement about the cause of death yet.
