Monsoon: Heavy rains in pre-monsoon, IMD predicts torrential rains in northwest and central India

Monsoon: In the first pre-monsoon rain in the Phulera area of ​​Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, heavy rains fell. During this time people got relief from the heat but the underpasses built around the Phulera town are causing trouble for the general public.

It is noteworthy that, in the first heavy rain of the season, the only underpass connecting Phulera town to the railway colony which is built on the Phulera-Jodhpur line near New Colony which connects more than a dozen small villages like Railway Colony, Shyam Nagar, Dhani Nagan got damaged.

Waterlogging became a big problem after heavy rain

The underpass got flooded in just one and a half hour of rain, in which a Bolero car got stuck in the middle and the driver was left breathless, luckily there was no one else in that car except the driver. The driver saved his life by getting out of the car in time. The first rain of the monsoon also exposed the village of Balika Administration, in which the colony located near the Sabji Mandi, Balaji Road Harijan Basti is filled with about two to three feet of water, due to which the general public is facing a lot of problems.

Phulega drowned in 2 hours of rain

In the first pre-monsoon rain, water logging at many places in Phulera is causing huge problems to the people. The entire Phulera was found submerged in 2 hours of rain. Due to heavy water logging at many places, there was long traffic jam on the roads. The railway underpass was filled with water up to 5 ft due to which two wheeler and four wheeler riders had to face trouble. The driver of a Bolero car which was stuck in the underpass connecting Phulera to the railway colony, saved his life by coming out in time.

Torrential rain is expected till June 25

The Meteorological Department has predicted torrential rains in parts of northwest and central India till June 25. Today, torrential rains are expected in Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Konkan, Goa and parts of Northeast India.
