The much-awaited social thriller Kuberaa, starring Dhanush and Nagarjuna, has officially premiered in theatres today, June 20. Helmed by renowned filmmaker Sekhar Kammula, the film has been met with strong early reviews from both critics and moviegoers. Among the voices lauding the film is actress Sai Pallavi, who shared an emotional message praising the team behind the film.
Sai Pallavi, who previously collaborated with Kammula in the hit film Love Story (2021), referred to him as her mentor, and described Kuberaa as an extraordinary project. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), she wrote, “Kuberaa will be unforgettable for many reasons! @dhanushkraja sir continues to amaze with his fearless choice of roles and powerful performances. @iamnagarjuna sir, watching you in a gritty role under Sekhar sir’s vision is sure to be a treat. Produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Rammohan Rao, Kuberaa features a stellar lineup including Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, and Dalip Tahil. Originally announced in 2021 as D51, it was later nicknamed DNS before receiving its final title in March 2024.
