
In the ever-evolving world of showbiz many songs come and go. Some became an overnight sensation and achieved massive success. The song came out in the year 1997 was composed by the Dutch Eurodance group Vengaboys. The song wasnt a part of any film; rather it was an independent album Up & Down – The Party Album. Later it also released a second single under Jive Records and went on to dominate music charts in several countries. It captured scenes of Brazilian streets playful kids and women dancing joyfully to the beats On May 2 2000 Vengaboys were honoured at the World Music Awards as the best-selling dance group of the year. Later in the year 2014 on May 14 the song was re-released by the group with a new version during the FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The new version just like the old one also instantly became a hit. Wherever the tournament went so did the sound of “Brazil” with fans dancing and vibing to the familiar tune. The lead vocals were by Kim Sasabone and the group included members like Dennis van Rijswijk Robin and Donny Latupeirissa.
