Nowadays, Fastag has become mandatory on toll plazas across the country. This makes the toll tax directly deducted from your account and you do not need to stand in long queues. But if there is no balance in the fastag, then you may have to pay double charge or stop the journey. In such a situation, it is important to keep recharging fastag from time to time. Let’s know, the easiest way to recharge fastag from mobile.

Just open any UPI app in your mobile. Then go to “Fastag” or “Bill Payments” section. Here, select bank or fastag provider (eg ICICI, HDFC, Axis Bank, Paytm etc.). After this, link the vehicle number or the Fastag ID, then enter the amount of amount and tap on the ‘Pay’ button. The recharge will be completed in a few seconds.

If your fastag is connected to a bank, you can also recharge through the official app or website of that bank.
For example, open the ICICI Imobile App, go to Fastag section, select fastag connected to the vehicle number, enter the recharge amount and pay. The same process can be adopted in bank apps like HDFC, Axis Bank, SBI.
