FC Nantes’ squad could be picked apart this summer. Moses Simon is on the verge of completing a move to recently promoted Paris FC, Matthis Abline is the subject of interest from Olympique de Marseille and multiple Premier League sides, whilst Nathan Zézé is also linked with a move away from the Beaujoire.
Canaries’ midfield could also be picked apart. As per a report from Ouest-France, Nantes have received an offer from Russian club Krasnodar for Douglas Augusto (28). The bid is worth €4m. Whilst it is thought that this figure will not be sufficient to conclude a deal, it has nonetheless allowed for talks between the two sides to begin.
Augusto is tempted by the prospect of joining Krasnodar. The Brazilian, who joined Nantes two years ago, has a contract that runs through until 2027. Last season, he featured prominently, playing 28 out of Nantes’ 34 games in the league.
