Leeds: In the first Test match being played between India and England, Handingley, Leeds, Jasprit Bumrah did a big act by taking the wicket of England’s Ben Docket. Bumrah drove Jack Croly at the beginning of the innings. After that Bumrah bowled Ben Docket and gave the Indian team a second success. With this wicket, Bumrah completed 147 wickets in army countries.

In SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand, Australia) countries, Bumrah took 147 wickets in 32 matches. With this, he has become the first bowler in Asia to take the highest wicket in SENA countries. Bumrah overtook the great Pakistani bowler and former captain Wasim Akram SENA in 32 Tests played in SENA countries. Now Wasim Akram has reached the second number.

Bumrah, who made his Test debut for India against South Africa in Newlands, Cape Town on 5 January 2018, has so far taken 39 wickets in 10 Tests played on England soil and has dismissed 64 batsmen in 12 Tests played in Australia. Bumrah has played two Tests in New Zealand, in which he has taken six wickets and he has 38 victims in the eight Tests played in South Africa.

Bumrah’s performance in SENA countries

India all out for 471 runs

India scored a total of 471 runs in the first innings. Yashasvi Jaiswal (101), Shubman Gill (147) and Rishabh Pant (134) scored centuries for the Indian team, but could not do anything special in other batting. For England, captain Ben Stokes and fast bowler Josh Tung took four wickets each. Apart from this, Bridan Cars took one wicket and Shoaib Bashir took one wicket.
