Bank Holidays
Bank holidays determined by the Reserve Bank of India are state-wise. Of the above holidays, banks will remain closed in most states on Eid-ul-Azha (July 9) and Muharram (July 30). Other holidays like Rath Yatra or Ashadhi Ekadashi will be limited to certain states.
School and College Holidays
Holidays in educational institutions are given as per the orders of the state governments. National holidays like Eid and Muharram will be applicable in almost all schools and colleges. On the other hand, Rath Yatra and Ashadhi Ekadashi will be valid only in some states.
