Diljit Dosanjh is set to star alongside Hania Aamir in ' Sardaarji 3 '. The actor, singer just dropped the trailer of the film, but was heavily trolled for working with Hania. There were speculations whether Hania will be a part of the film after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Post that, the tensions between India and Pakistan exaggerated further. However, it is now confirmed that Hania is very much the female lead in the film along with Neeru Bajwa. The film will release only overseas and not in India after Pakistani artists are banned here.
Diljit got trolled for the same. Amidst the trolling, in an interview with Grammy with Recording Academy President Panos, Diljit spoke about art having no boundaries. He said, "Countries are at war, and we don’t have control over these things. But I believe music is something that unites nations. I feel blessed to be part of something that spreads love across nations.”
He added further, "I think we need to look beyond nations and focus on Mother Earth. All these borders are part of the same Mother Earth, and I belong to her.”
Diljit quoted a line by his Guru and said, "Hum aadmi hain ek daami (We humans are here only for a brief moment). We are here for very limited time, we should not waste our time fighting with each other.”
He further added, "Politics is different space, I don’t want to make blunders by speaking out of turn. But for me, every second is precious, and I want to live it to the fullest.”
