An RTC bus traveling from Narsipatnam to Visakhapatnam was involved in a collision near Bayyavaram on the national highway. The bus struck a lorry ahead of it, leading to injuries for eight individuals, including the bus driver.
Injuries and Medical Response

Recent Tragedy at Temple
In a separate incident last month, a tragic event occurred at the Sri Varahalakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Visakhapatnam, where eight pilgrims lost their lives due to a 20-foot-long structure collapsing during the Chandanotsavam festival. Family members of the victims were seen grieving outside King George Hospital in Visakhapatnam.
Demands for Justice
Jogarao, a relative of one of the deceased, expressed outrage over the recent construction of a wall that allegedly contributed to the tragedy. He highlighted that both the husband and wife, who were IT professionals, lost their lives. Jogarao is calling for accountability from the contractor and engineer responsible for the wall's construction, demanding a compensation of one crore and a government job for the affected family members. He stated, 'Without these announcements, we will not allow postmortems to be conducted on the deceased.'
Family's Plea for Accountability
Another family member echoed the call for justice, insisting that the government must investigate the officials involved in the wall's poor construction. 'We need justice for our lost family members. The government should take action against those responsible for this tragedy,' they said, emphasizing the need for support and compensation.
