
Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh): Two days after a woman and her child were publicly kidnapped at gunpoint in Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur, state president Jitu Patwari visited the victim’s family on Monday.
Patwari met the injured man Hariram Pal’s family, assured them of full support. He demanded strict action from the state government, reiterating his allegations of rise in criminal activities in Madhya Pradesh under the BJP government.
Notably on June 21, a dozen armed men attacked a house, beat up a man, and kidnapped his wife and two young children. They even fired gunshots openly in the village.

According to information, the incident happened in Lavkushnagar police station area, where nearly a dozen armed men attacked a house, beat up Hariram Pal, and kidnapped his wife and two young children.
Gunshots were fired openly in the village, causing panic and fear.

Following the incident, the Congress party formed a four-member inquiry team to look into this case and another recent murder in the Nowgaon area.
Locals have also alleged that some BJP leaders may be protecting the attackers.
Jitu Patwari said these allegations should be investigated seriously and that no one should be spared, no matter how powerful they are.
Meanwhile, BJP MLA Arvind Pateria also visited the village and promised help. He even connected the victim’s family with BJP state president V D Sharma on a video call.
Sharma assured them that all accused will be punished and has directed the SP and Collector to take strong action.
