
Balaghat (Madhya Pradesh): A woman has murdered her alcoholic husband with a spade for suspecting her character and beating her and children. The incident took place in Ratnara village under Hatta police station late in the night of June 18.
The police arrested the woman. According to reports, the brother of the murdered man Nandkishore Damahe informed the police on June 19 that his elder brother Jaikishore Damahe returned home dead drunk late in the night of June 18. The police gave information about the murder on Monday.
He beat up his wife and children and threw them out of the house. As the door was closed throughout the day and as nobody came out of the room, some residents of the area informed the police.

His body had a deep wound on the right side of the neck. There were blood stains around the bed.
Sub-inspector of police station Avinash Rathore questioned the relatives of Jaikishore. They said they suspected the hands of his wife, Rekha, behind the murder.
Rekha said her husband regularly tortured her and the children in a drunken state. She said after her husband beat her up along with the children on the night of June 18 and threw them out of the house, she went to the house of her Jeth (husband’s elder brother).
When Rekha returned home and saw Jaikishore sleeping, she hit him with a spade. After committing the crime, she threw the spade into a well. The police found the spade.
