Oats protein bar recipe

Ingredients:

  • Rolled oats – 1½ cups
  • Natural peanut butter – ¾ cup
  • Honey or maple syrup – ¼ cup
  • Protein powder – ½ cup (vanilla or chocolate flavour works best)
  • Chia seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Dark chocolate chips – ¼ cup
  • A pinch of salt
  • A few tablespoons of milk

Steps to prepare at home:

  1. Take a bowl and add peanut butter along with honey and mix it well.
  2. Add protein powder, oats, and chia seeds along with salt and give it all a good mix.
  3. Add 1-2 tablespoons of milk if necessary to form a thick mixture.
  4. Transfer the mix into a greased tray and press firmly to flatten.
  5. Melt dark chocolate chips and drizzle all over the spread.
  6. Now, garnish with some roasted oats along with nuts.
  7. Freeze it for 6 hours, and cut it into square bars.
