There is good news for the candidates preparing for teacher recruitment. Teachers will be recruited for more than 50 thousand posts in UP. The Personnel Department is preparing a draft for the recruitment of more than 50 thousand teachers in the state. As soon as the draft is ready, it will be sent to the UP Education Selection Commission, from where the process of filling the posts will start. These teacher posts will be filled in primary, secondary, and higher education.

The way to start teacher recruitment stuck on more than 50 thousand posts in primary, secondary, and higher education in UP is going to be cleared soon. After the draft is ready, the concerned departments will send the requisition of vacant posts to the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission for new recruitment. What is the update

The UP Education Selection Commission has to recruit teachers in the Basic, Secondary, and Higher Education Departments, but new recruitment could not start due to the non-receipt of details of vacant posts from the concerned departments. Even after 10 meetings between the representatives of the Commission and the officers of the Basic, Secondary and Higher Education Department, there was a dispute over the format of the requisition, but now after the dispute is over, the Personnel Department is preparing the draft of the requisition. It may take about a month to complete this work. The prepared format will be sent to the concerned departments and the commission. It may take about two months from the preparation of the format to receiving the requisition. After this, the notification of new teacher recruitment will be issued.

UP Teacher Recruitment 2025: Where and on how many posts is the recruitment of teachers stopped?

According to the information received from the sources of the Commission, if the concerned departments had sent the requisition on time, then till now the recruitment process would have started for about 30 thousand posts of Assistant Teacher in Council Schools, more than 20 thousand posts of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Lecturer (PGT) in non-government secondary schools and about one and a half thousand posts in non-government colleges.

The commission has not yet clarified the date of the TGT-PGT recruitment examination under the advertisement year 2022. The PGT examination is likely in the last week of August and the TGT examination proposed on 21 and 22 July is also likely to be postponed. There is confusion about both these exams. The PGT examination has been postponed thrice and the TGT examination twice, but now a way out seems to be emerging.
