Rekha copied this film of Big B The name of this film is Madam X which was a mockbuster film of the 1978 blockbuster film Don. Rekha had told that she had copied Amitabh Bachchan in the film. However while Don was a blockbuster at the box office this film proved to be a disaster. Rekha was in the lead role in the film along with her there were actors like Mohsin Khan Shakti Kapoor and Raza Murad. Rekha has played a double role in this film in one role she plays a naive poor girl and in the other she plays a don. Rekha was seen in a completely different style in this film. In many places it has been said that instead of being serious this film has been presented funny way. People did not like it at all after its release. Shakti Kapoor had a cameo role in this film directed by Deepak Shivdasani. Talking about Don the actor also played a double role in Amitabh Bachchans film released in 1978.
