Aamir Khan made his much-awaited comeback after 3 years with Sitaare Zameen Par. Directed RS Prasanna the film had a great start and maintained a stead grip on weekend following a good business on its first Monday. As per the latest updates by entertainment tracking portal Sacnilk Sitaare Zameen Par has now crossed Rs 70 crore mark in India. According to early estimates the Aamir Khan and Genelia DSouza-starrer minted Rs 8.50 crore on Day 5. The film opened at Rs 10.7 crore and saw its best-single day earnings on Sunday with Rs 27.25 crore. On Day 4 the film witnessed 60% loss as it collected Rs 8.5 crore in all languages. As per the latest updates Day 5 witnessed the steady figure with overall domestic collection reached to now Rs 75.15 crore.
