UP Weather Today: Monsoon has arrived in Uttar Pradesh. In the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain has been recorded in many parts of the state. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain and thunderstorm for June 25. The rain is likely to continue in UP for the next few days.

Light to moderate rain occurred in some areas of western Uttar Pradesh and many parts of eastern UP. The highest rainfall was recorded in Hamirpur. Talking about the temperature, Fatehgarh recorded a maximum of 38 degrees Celsius, which was the hottest in the state. At the same time, the minimum temperature in Barabanki and Jhansi was recorded at 25.5 degrees Celsius.
How will the weather be today

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for June 25. There is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms at many places in western UP. Heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in some districts. Rain and thunderstorms may also occur in many areas of eastern UP. The affected districts include Meerut, Bareilly, Lalitpur, Mathura, Jhansi, Fatehpur, Etawah in western UP and Barabanki, Ayodhya, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Varanasi, Amethi in eastern UP.

Weather forecast for next 2-3 days

On June 26, it will rain at most places in western UP, while there is a possibility of rain in many areas of eastern UP. On June 27, there may be heavy rain with thunder and lightning at almost all places in western UP. There is also a possibility of heavy rain in all areas of eastern UP. An alert of widespread rain and thunderstorm has been issued in entire UP on June 28.
Latest status of monsoon

The northern boundary of the monsoon has now reached Agra, Rampur, Bijnor, Dehradun and Shimla. According to the Meteorological Department, there are favorable conditions for the entry of monsoon in the remaining districts of western UP in the next 36 hours.
