The bank told in its official website that the bank users may face some problem in net banking at a certain time every day due to routine maintenance work. However, this problem can be of only 3-4 minutes.

Transactions may be affected at this time every day

SBI wrote on its website, "Dear Customer, due to our regular banking maintenance activities, you may face interruption for 3 to 4 minutes between 4.45 am to 5.45 am every day. Sorry for the inconvenience."

All banks do this work

Many big banks of the country, including SBI, do maintenance work from time to time during off-peak hours to upgrade and secure their systems. This is usually late night time, so that it has minimum impact on the transactions of customers.

SBI's advice to customers

Along with this, State Bank of India has also given some more advice to its customers -

SBI said that customers can now deposit their income tax / corporate tax through debit or credit card of any bank using State Bank Payment Gateway.

Along with this, customers are advised to change their profile password every 365 days (1 year) to use a secure banking system. By doing this, you can protect yourself from potential cyber fraud to a great extent.

In case of any emergency, SBI customers can talk to SBI customer care agents by calling toll free on 1800 1234 and 1800 2100.

SBI told its customers that the bank never asks for your card/PIN/OTP/CVV details over phone, message or email. In such a situation, do not share your personal details on any such phone call or message.
