Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, in a recent interview with Sri Lankan media, revealed the title of his upcoming film with director Mahesh Narayanan.

The film, which was tentatively titled MMMN, has now been titled 'Patriot'. The big-scale film features celebrated actors including Mammootty, Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban and Nayanthara.

Recently, for a new schedule of the film. While giving an interview to the Sri Lankan media, he mentioned that the film has been titled 'Patriot'.

During the interview, he said, "This is my second visit [to the country], because we had a previous schedule. We're doing a big film. Big film, in the sense, star cast - myself, Mammootty, Fahadh Faasil, Kunchako Boban and many others. The name of the movie is 'Patriot'."

Talking about Sri Lanka, he called the country a friendly place to shoot, while appreciating the culture and location. The actor also added that 'Patriot' is also being shot in India, Azerbaijan, UK and the Middle East.

The previous schedule in Sri Lanka saw Mohanlal, Mammootty, Fahadh Faasil and Kunchacko Boban in attendance. Mammootty has taken a break from work due to health complications. He is expected to join the shoot in the coming months.

Revathi, Darshana Rajendran, Zarin Shihab, Grace Antony and several others are part of the supporting cast. Produced by Anton Joseph, CR Salim and Shubash Manuel, the film has cinematography by Manush Nandan.
