The report in November estimated that by 2030, the data consumption of users running the phone would increase by 66 GB per month, but now in this latest report, the estimate has been reduced by 4 per cent to 62 GB.
The report estimated that by 2030, the number of 5G subscribers in India will increase three times to 980 million (about 98 million) compared to existing customers. There are indications of huge increase due to better mid-band coverage and increasing focus on fixed wireless access (FWA) of telecom companies. On the other hand, on the other hand, the number of users running 4G during the same period is also expected to decline by 60 percent, if this happens, the number will be reduced to about 230 million.
