In a case reminiscent of the recent honeymoon murder in Meghalaya, a 23-year-old woman from Kurnool has been arrested for allegedly orchestrating the murder of her husband, just a month after their wedding. The accused, Aishwarya—also known as T Sahasra—is believed to have conspired with her lover and a hired gang to kill 26-year-old G Tejeshwar, a land surveyor and dancer from Gadwal.

Marriage Amid Conflict Ends In Tragedy

The couple tied the knot on May 17 at Anjaneya Temple in Beechupalli, despite strong objections from Tejeshwar’s family, reported Times of India. Aishwarya had briefly left home the days before the wedding, citing dowry-related concerns, but returned claiming she was committed to the relationship.

Their union, however, turned out to be short-lived. On June 17, Tejeshwar left home and went missing, prompting his brother to lodge a police complaint. His body was later found in a canal in Andhra Pradesh, confirming the worst fears of his family.

Premeditated Plot Involving Lover and Hired Killers

Investigations revealed that Aishwarya had conspired with her lover, Tirumal Rao—a married bank manager from Kurnool and colleague of her mother Sujatha. The police allege that Rao paid Rs 2 lakh to three hired men to carry out the murder, as per a report on NDTV.

A GPS tracker had reportedly been installed on Tejeshwar’s phone, allowing his wife to monitor his movements and ambush him at a secluded location. Aishwarya allegedly provided regular updates to Rao during the planning and execution of the crime.

Loan, Elopement Plans & A Chilling Confession

According to police, Rao had taken a Rs 20 lakh loan with plans to abscond to Ladakh with Aishwarya after the murder, as per reports. He had assumed that Tejeshwar would remain a missing person, with no trace of the crime ever surfacing.

In a deeply unsettling revelation, Rao also confessed to considering the murder of his own wife, citing their childless marriage of eight years. Further investigations are underway.
