Tvs bikes: TVS Motor is going to enlarge its bike portfolio. The company is soon to bring Apache RTR 160 2V and RTR 180 models to the market with new graphics and some updated features. The TVS Apache is preparing to update the RTR 160 2V and Apache RTR 180 models. Both models are quite old and in many years of sales, they have only seen only incremental and emission- changes. No official information has been received about prices yet. It remains to be seen whether the updated model prices will increase or not. The decision of prices will depend on how many and what types of updates have been made in the bike.
Obd2B emission standard
Updated TVS Apache RTR 160 2V and Apache RTR 180 are now designed according to new OBD2B emission standards. The performance of the engine is not expected to change much.engine
The TVS Apache RTR 160 2V is powered by a 159.7 cc air-cooled Sohc engine, which provides 16.04 PS of power and 13.85 Nm peak torque in sport mode. At the same time, power and torque in rain and urban mode reduce 13.32 PS and 12.7 Nm respectively. Both these bikes will be updated in the engine, while design, features and interior will not be made special changes.Advanced braking features
For better braking, TVS Apache RTR 160 2V and Apache RTR 180 can include anti-lock braking system (ABS) as well as advanced braking features like EBS and BA.
