Oats veg cutlet

Ingredients to make oats veg cutlets during the rainy season
- 1 cup oats
- 2 boiled potatoes
- 1 carrot
- Finely chopped beans
- 1 cup chopped capsicum
- 1 chopped green chili
- 1 grated ginger
- 2 teaspoon green coriander
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- Salt
- Oil
Method
- Grind oats lightly in the grinder.
- Mash the boiled potatoes well in a large bowl. Then add carrots, beans, capsicum, green chillies, ginger and coriander.
- Now add coarsely ground oats, chaat masala, salt and lemon juice. Mix everything well by hand.
- Cover this prepared mixture for 10 minutes. This will absorb the oats a little moisture and the mixture will become a bit hard, which will make it easier to make cutlets.
- Now make a cutlet of desired shape with this mixture. If you want, you can get a crispy texture by applying light dry oats or bread powder from outside.
- Put a little oil on a non-stick griddle and roast the cutlets on both side low flame until they turn golden brown and crispy.
- Serve this prepared oats veg cutlet with green chutney, tomato sauce or curd dip.
Moongdal pakoras


Material for making moong dal pakoras
- 1 cup moong dal
- 1 chopped green chili
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped coriander
- Salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- Oil
Method
- Remove the soaked moong dal from the water and put it in the grinder. Add green chillies and ginger to it and grind it coarsely while adding a little water.
- Keep in mind that you have to grind the lentils too thin and not thicker, only then its consultancy will be correct.
- Now take out this PC dal in a bowl. Add onion, green coriander, cumin, salt and some chaat masala if you want.
- Whisk the mixture well so that the pakoras become light and bloated. It would be good to throw for 5-7 minutes.
