The Koenigsegg Jesko is one of the craziest hypercars that money can buy and the Attack version of it was the track focused variant. But Swedish brand was not done and they decided that they needed an even more extreme version so they built the Jesko Sadair’s Spear. It is named after the Christian Von Koenigsegg’s father, Jesko Von Koenigsegg. The Sadair’ Spear is more powerful, lighter and has more aero. It is also road legal and limited to just 30 units and with no surprises, all of them are already sold out.
On the exterior side of things, there is all new aero. There is a new double-blade active wing. New underfloor, wheel arch louvres, and Koenigsegg has also extended the rear end and everything else has been designed for better cooling. New carbon fibre wheels which has a new turbine blade design, and they are also wrapped with wider rubber. It has lighter springs, and new Triplex dampers.
The car also sees weight loss on the interior side of things. New centre conosle, carbon seats and even more lighter weight components throughout the cabin but it doesn’t lose on the features and still gets 360-degree cameras, a digital display and wireless phone charging. In total, it is 35 kgs lighter than the Jesko.
There is more power as well and the twin-turbocharged V8 engine has been tuned to 1,300 bhp. If you run it on ethanol, the power bumps up to 1,625 bhp. All this fire goes to the rear wheels with Koenigsegg’s unique Light Speed Transmission which doesn’t have a flywheel.
Christian von Koenigsegg said: “Sadair’s Spear represents a natural progression for Koenigsegg – an impeccable balance of raw power, refined aerodynamics, and extraordinary road presence. This car is destined to set records. Achieving such track dominance in a fully road-legal vehicle is nothing short of remarkable.”
