How much will the price increase?
According to the company, prices will be increased based on different models and variants. For example, if the price of a model is ₹ 15 lakhs, it can increase by ₹ 22,000. This change can also apply to popular models like MG Astor, Heter, Hector Plus, ZS EV and Gloster.
What is the reason for increasing price?
MG Motor has given two main reasons behind increasing prices:
- Increase in input cost – According to the company, the cost of materials, auto parts and manufacturing is steadily increasing.
- Production cost pressure – The increase in costs due to the challenges of the supply chain globally has made the price amendment mandatory.
