New Delhi: Samsung has launched the Galaxy M36 5G in India, which is its new high-performance mid-range smartphone. Having taken the place of the Galaxy M35 5G, the new gadget is loaded with a range of premium features at an affordable price. The best features of the phone are a built-in Galaxy AI, a 50 MP camera with optical image stabilisation, and a 120 Hz AMOLED display.

The Galaxy M36 5G has now been launched in India with a price tag of under Rs 20,000 and is already available at Amazon, Samsung.com, and a few offline stores. This puts it in a competitive position in the sub-20K category to compete with other brands such as the CMF Phone 2 Pro and OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite.

Samsung Galaxy M36 5G specifications

It has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate to provide smooth visuals on the Galaxy M36 5G. It is also shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and has a centrally placed punch-hole cutout forthe selfie camera. The gadget is also slim, measuring 7.7 mm in thickness, and is available in three colour variants, including Orange Haze, Serene Green and Velvet Black.

The 50 MP main shooter with OIS is one of the major selling points, and it is complemented by a triple-camera arrangement. On the front, it has a 12 MP camera that takes selfies. The front and rear cameras are 4K video recording, increasing the phone’s attractiveness to both content creators and amateur photographers.

It is equipped with a processor, Exynos 1380, and with 6GB RAM or above, it can support multitasking. It is powered by Android 15 and the latest One UI 7 by Samsung.
