New Delhi: David Beckham received a heartwarming wish from his wife Victoria Beckham after his surgery. David was hospitalised for a hand surgery. Victoria shared Davids health update on her Instagram account wishing him a speedy recovery. David was seen resting on a hospital bed and smiling. Victoria shared a picture from the hospital In the picture Davids right hand can be seen in a blue sling. He was smiling at the camera. Victoria wrote in the caption Get Well Soon Daddy. In another picture Victoria showed her lovely gift for David which she gave him after the surgery. A bracelet with Get Well Soon written on it was seen on Davids wrist. According to sources David was in pain for a long time According to a source given to The Sun David felt unbearable pain in his hand due to an injury he suffered during an old match against South Africa in 2003 after which he had to undergo surgery. The source added “David had been in pain for years but didn’t take it seriously. He just kept going but in recent months the pain became unbearable. A routine scan revealed the pin that should have dissolved didn’t — so he had surgery. Victoria was with him after the operation and everything went well. David is in good spirits too.” David and Victoria celebrate 25 years of marriage David and Victoria celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in July last year. In a joint Instagram post the two revived their old look by re-wearing the purple Antonio Berardi outfits they wore to the wedding reception. David Beckham the former Manchester United and Real Madrid football star and Victoria Beckham known as “Posh Spice” of the Spice Girls have achieved success in their respective fields.
