Loose Women had to abruptly pause during a live broadcast when Kaye Adams found herself in a fluster, having to offer an on-air apology after a guest swore. During Friday's (June 27) episode of the hit ITV daytime chat show, Kaye was joined by fellow panellists Kelly Brook, Judi Love and Jane Moore as they shared their opinions on a number of different topics.

One particular moment left the panel gobsmacked, involving Mumsnet founder Justine Roberts, who was invited to mark the 25th anniversary of her online platform, centred on discussions around children, reports Belfast Live.

During a candid chat about the enduring impact of the website, Justine said: "There are all kinds of sub communities in there but the main thing is people connecting and being able to say things that sometimes you can't say on Facebook, Instagram or real life because they're anonymous so they can speak the truth and they get real value from that."

Highlighting the site's beginnings, Judi said: "When you first started it was called Mumsnet, was it for women and when did you see that demographic start to change?"

Justine replied with a touch of nostalgia, detailing the site's history: "We called it Mumsnet only because we thought of Parentsnet but it sounded really boring, I don't know why but it wasn't sharp enough."

She further explained: "Part of it is that it's a place for women because there aren't any places on the internet that are kind of dominated by female voices and people find a lot of value in that."

Kaye probed: "Where did the language come from? AIBU, am I being unreasonable, I mean that has spilled out beyond your sight hasn't it?"

Intrigued by the code words used on the forum, Kaye pressed on: "LTB, would you like to tell people what that is?"

Justine couldn't help but giggle as she clarified: "This is often used when someone complains for instance their husband has left the towels on the bathroom floor again and then there is a chorus of people saying LTB."

The atmosphere shifted when Justine let slip a swear word as she disclosed: "Which means leave the b*******."

Laughter erupted from everyone, and the panel's astonishment was evident as they all appeared taken aback. Kaye interjected: "I was hoping you wouldn't use that last word." With an apologetic expression, Justine responded: "Sorry."

Kaye went on: "And actually what Justine said was leave the naughty boy. I deeply apologise for that, I led you into that so that was my fault."

Loose Women airs weekdays from 12.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX
