New Delhi: Byd Auto is going to do its portfolio in India with the launch of its third model seal all-electric sedan. Let us know that the seal EV will be the third car after the E6 MPV and ATTO 3 SUV in the India Line-up of BYD with launch on March 5. During this time, dealers have already started booking for this model informally. Recently the seal has also been seen testing on the outskirts of Chennai (byd Seal Sedan).
Powertrain
Let us know that the seal electric sedan is available in international markets with two battery packs (byd seal sedan) options, it includes a 61.4kwh unit with 500 km CLTC range as well as an 82.5kwh battery pack with a 700 km range. The battery pack includes Byd's patented 'blade battery' technology and can be charged with a fast charger of 150kw. During this time it will get two electric motors, which jointly generate 530hp power and torque of 670nm. Dealers informed that Seal EV's delivery would begin immediately after the announcement of prices on 5 March. At the same time, there is no direct competition of seal, but according to the price, it will compete with Hyundai Ionic 5 SUVs and Kia's EV6 crossover.
