An interactive literary evening titled ' Tagore for All ' will be held on May 10 to celebrate the 164th birth anniversary of the Bard of Bengal. The event is set to begin at 4:30 pm and promises an engaging mix of poetry readings, storytelling, music, and quizzes, designed to appeal across generations.
Debapriya Ghosh , author of
The World of Tagore, will lead the session alongside performers from the writers’ collective Lampshade. The programme aims to make Tagore’s ideas more accessible to younger audiences while honouring the timeless appeal of his literature and philosophy.
The evening will feature curated performances that explore the poet’s legacy through a blend of words, music, and interactive formats. Open to all, the session invites both long-time admirers and first-time readers to revisit the enduring spirit of Gurudev in a lively and inclusive setting.
