India's Strong Warning to Pakistan
India has declared that any future terrorist actions against it will be treated as acts of war, with appropriate responses planned. This statement comes from high-level sources within the Indian government, serving as a stern warning to Pakistan. Additionally, India has effectively countered Pakistan's provocative actions, which included the use of drones, long-range weapons, and fighter jets targeting various regions and military infrastructure along the western border.
Military Readiness Amid Rising Tensions
The Indian Army has reported that Pakistan is moving its troops into border areas, indicating aggressive intentions that could escalate tensions further. The military has assured that they are fully prepared for any operational challenges. Amid fears of a significant military conflict, military spokesperson Colonel Sofia Qureshi reiterated the Indian armed forces' commitment to de-escalation, provided the Pakistani military reciprocates. She made these remarks during a special press conference alongside Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri.
Response to Provocations
Colonel Qureshi stated that India has responded proportionately to Pakistan's provocative and tension-inducing actions. She highlighted that Pakistan continues its despicable and uncontrolled campaign targeting innocent civilians and infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. Recently, Pakistan executed a cowardly act by attacking a medical center and school complex at air force bases in Srinagar, Awantipora, and Udhampur, as well as launching high-speed missile strikes on several air force bases in Punjab after 1:40 AM, causing some damage. She confirmed that all hostile actions have been effectively countered and appropriate responses have been delivered.
