
Honda has launched the Apex Summer Edition of their Elevate SUV. It has a starting price of Rs 12.39 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be available in both manual and CVT forms. The Apex Summer Edition is based on middle spec V variant of the vehicle and gets a few changes which are all visual.
As far as the changes go, it gets piano black inserts on the outside and Honda has also added a few chrome elements as well. It also gets “Apex Edition” badges. On the interior it gets new white coloured seat upholstery and door trim. Honda has also added ambient lighting, seat cushions, and a larger 9-inch touch screen which is available in the top model and also given it a 360-degree camera.
Mechanically, it remains the same and comes with a 1.5L i-VTEC engine which produces 119 bhp and 145 Nm of torque. It can be paired to either the 6-speed manual or the CVT. Here is the pricing for both the manual and CVT variant:
- Elevate Summer Apex Edition MT: Rs 12.39 lakh (ex-showroom)
- Elevate Summer Apex Edition CVT: Rs 13.59 lakh (ex-showroom)
This is the third special edition for the Honda Elevate. This was preceded by Apex Edition and also Black Edition cars earlier. The Honda Elevate competes with the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun and the Skoda Kushaq.
