It can be a bit difficult to keep coriander and mint refreshing in the summer season. Peppermint is very high in summer – from its sauce to cold drinks, it is beneficial for both health and taste. At the same time, coriander also plays an important role in enhancing the taste of dal-vegetable. But in the hot summer, both of them wither quick and lose taste.

1. Wash and dry

First of all, wash coriander and mint thoroughly with clean water. Then dry them with a cotton cloth or paper towel – keep in mind that there is no moisture at all.

After drying, store them in an airtight compartment or ziplock bag with paper towels and store them in the fridge.

2. Kitchen

Wrap the clean and dry leaves in a paper towel. Then put it in a plastic bag and keep it in the fridge. In this way, the leaves can remain fresh for 7–10 days.

3. Keep in a glass in water

Keep coriander or mint in a glass of water including stalks, like flowers are decorated. Cover with a plastic bag on top and keep it in the fridge. Keep changing the water every two days.

4. Freeze and keep

Finely chop the leaves and add them to the ice tray with water or olive oil. When freezing, store them in airtight container. These cubes can be used easily in vegetables, curries or juices later.
