Washington, DC: According to Michael Rubin, a former Pentagon official, India was able to stifle Pakistan’s reaction to the recent attacks by precisely targeting militant infrastructure. “Pakistan went running to try to achieve a ceasefire like a scared dog with its tail between its legs” when India shut down their airfields, he claimed.

Rubin, currently a senior scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, stated that the Pakistani military must acknowledge its significant defeat. He said that Pakistan’s funding of terrorists is now the focus of international attention and that India has triumphed militarily and diplomatically.

Regarding his assessment of India’s May 7 attacks and whether the country was successful in communicating its message, Rubin said, “India won this both diplomatically and militarily.” The current focus on Pakistan’s terrorism funding may have contributed to India’s diplomatic victory.

“There is no distinction between a terrorist and an ISI or Pakistani military member, as shown by the fact that Pakistani officials in uniform attended the terrorists’ burial. The world will essentially demand that Pakistan fix the problems in its system. Therefore, India moved the topic diplomatically, and Pakistan is surprised militarily.

As a trained historian, I receive compensation for making historical predictions. We can also rest assured that Pakistan has instigated each conflict with India, convincing itself that it has achieved some form of victory. Convincing themselves that they prevailed in this four-day conflict will be a completely unique experience. That’s why. India was able to precisely destroy the terror organization’s headquarters and training facilities.

“India was able to limit Pakistan’s retaliation when they retaliated, and when they tried to do so again, India was able to shut down their airfields. Pakistan, frightened and desperate to secure a truce, fled. And the truth is that the Pakistani military cannot lie about what happened to avoid facing the truth that they not only lost, but they lost horribly. But what Pakistan will do next is the matter at hand.

Given that the Pakistani military is obviously inept and a cancer on Pakistani society, it is obvious that there is a problem with it. Will Asim Munir be able to continue in his position? Will the egos of Pakistani generals subordinate the future prosperity and well-being of Pakistani society as a whole? In essence, Pakistan has to clean up, but it’s unclear whether they’re too far gone to do that,” he said.

The terrorist incident in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22 claimed the lives of up to 26 persons and wounded a number more.

Over 100 terrorists connected to groups such as the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) were killed when the Indian Armed Forces attacked terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir as part of Operation Sindoor, which was launched on May 7 in response to the Pahalgam attack.

Following the attack, India launched a coordinated attack that damaged radar infrastructure, communication centers, and airfields across Pakistani airbases. Pakistan responded with cross-border shelling across the Line of Control and Jammu and Kashmir, as well as attempts at drone attacks along the border regions. An agreement to end hostilities was struck between India and Pakistan on May 10.
