
A fully-electric Lotus Emeya-S has joined the supercar fleet of aimed at enhancing the security presence of police officers and reinforcing innovation. The unveiling of the luxury car took place on Wednesday, May 14, during the at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Bearing plate number 75, the fully-electric luxury car can travel up to 600 kilometres on a single charge. It can reach a top speed of 250 kmph, deliver 603 horsepower, and accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.2 seconds.
“The Lotus Emeya-S also boasts a futuristic design, advanced entertainment systems, autonomous driving features, and state-of-the-art digital displays,” Dubai Police said in a statement sent to Khaleej Times.
A quick check at UAE car prices, the price for a Lotus Emeya starts from Dh450,000. Dealers said, “Lotus Emeya retains the core Lotus sports car DNA while redefining the hyper-GT segment with a fusion of cutting-edge technology, exhilarating performance, and sophisticated design.”
Luxury cars are almost synonymous with Dubai Police which count among their supercar fleet a Lamborghini Aventador, Audi R8 Coupé V10, Bentley Continental GT, McLaren MP4-12C, Aston Martin One-77, Mercedes-AMG GT63 S, Maserati GranTurismo, Bugatti Veyron, Toyota 2021 GR Supra, and more.

“These vehicles not only elevate the image of Dubai Police but also enable officers to engage with residents and tourists by offering information, guidance, and promoting the community role of the force,” said Maj-Gen Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, assistant commander-in-chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs at Dubai Police.
He also praised the partnership with Lotus, emphasising that incorporating electric luxury vehicles aligns with Dubai Police’s strategy to enhance patrol presence in high-profile tourist destinations such as Burj Khalifa, Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, and JBR, while upgrading the overall patrol fleet with the latest technologies.
