The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, is set to declare the SSLC (Class 10) and HSE +1 (Class 11) results 2025 on May 16, confirmed School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi. The official announcement will be made by the Professor Anbazhagan Education Complex.
Over 17 lakh students appeared for the state board exams this year. Of the 9,08,080 students registered for Class 10, about 8,94,264 took the exams conducted from March 28 to April 15, 2025. Meanwhile, nearly 8 lakh students sat the Class 11 (HSE +1) exams held from March 5 to March 27, 2025.

EXAM PATTERN AND EVALUATION
- SSLC subjects: Tamil, English, Maths, Science, Social Science, and optional languages
- Minimum marks to pass: 35 out of 100 per subject (at least 20 in theory)
- Practical exams: Conducted from February 22 to February 28, 2025
- Answer Sheet evaluation: Completed by April 22 (Class 10) and April 13 (Class 11)
