A disturbing case has come to light from Mumbai’s Malad area, where a 30-year-old woman helped her teen boyfriend rape her two-and-half-year-old daughter. Police said that the woman let the accused rape her daughter “in front of her". Later, when the situation got out of hand, they took the infant to a hospital, where the mother misled the staff and told the doctor “the girl was suffering from epilepsy".
The woman had been divorced three years ago and was living with her parents in the Malvani area when she developed a relationship with a 19-year-old. The matter reportedly came to light on Sunday night when the infant was brought to a government hospital located in Malvani Janakalyan Nagar.
The on-duty doctor examined the infant and pronounced her dead. During the examination, he discovered injuries to the girl’s private parts and immediately notified the police.
