This year a total of 8,93,616 students were registered for the class 12th examinations. Of these, 2,73,984 students were in the Science Faculty, 28,250 in the Commerce Faculty, and 5,87,475 in the Arts Faculty. Apart from this, 3,907 candidates were registered in the Senior Upadhyay examination.
