Flag Rally in Honor of Armed Forces
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a flag rally on Dal Lake in Srinagar to honor the Indian Armed Forces as part of Operation Sindoor. Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, a spokesperson for the BJP and chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board, stated that Operation Sindoor was a resounding success. She emphasized that the armed forces effectively dismantled terrorist camps, demonstrating to Pakistan that attacking India is no longer as easy as it once was. However, she noted that there were subsequent attacks on civilians in the Poonch, Rajouri, and Uri sectors, to which our security forces responded decisively.
Unity and Resilience in Pahalgam
Andrabi highlighted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the operation achieved its objectives. She mentioned an attack in Pahalgam that resulted in the loss of 26 lives, suggesting that peace may now be restored. Prior to this, BJP leaders and local residents in Pahalgam had demonstrated solidarity with the armed forces by participating in a flag march. During the rally, Abdul Waheed Wani, president of the local pony association, stated that the event was a response to the cowardly attacks by terrorists, asserting that Kashmir is an integral part of India. He invited tourists to visit, assuring them of their safety.
Celebrating Success of Operation Sindoor
Following the success of Operation Sindoor, BJP workers held a 'Tiranga Yatra' in Srinagar on Thursday to honor the Indian Armed Forces. The rally commenced from Sher-i-Kashmir Park and proceeded to Lal Chowk, led by BJP leader Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi. She praised the armed forces for their achievements and emphasized that every Indian citizen takes pride in the soldiers and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
