Rahul Gandhi's 3 Questions For PM Modi After His 'Sindoor Turns Barood' Speech In Rajasthan

Days after the attack in Pahalgam, the entire opposition was seen standing with Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led central government urging to take strong action against Pakistan. The Leader Of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, said several times that he is with the government in whatever step it takes against terrorism.

During Operation Sindoor, the opposition and Congress were seen with the government. However, after the ceasefire announced by the centre, Rahul Gandhi has launched an attack on the BJP-led central government.

The former Congress president, Gandhi, has now asked three questions to Prime Minister Modi on X. Gandhi urged PM Modi to stop giving hollow speeches.

“Just tell me:

1. Why did you believe Pakistan's statement on terrorism?

2. Why did you sacrifice India's interests by bowing to Trump?

3. Why does your blood boil only in front of cameras?,” Gandhi posted on X.

“You have compromised the honour of India!,” he further added.

Earlier, Congress alleged that the diplomatic delegations being sent abroad was part of government’s “WMD — weapons of mass distraction” exercise  and demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi call a special session of Parliament and clarify claims of US President Donald Trump’s India-Pakistan ceasefire.

“Why are the brutal killers of Pahalgam still free — according to some reports, they had been responsible for three earlier terror attacks in Poonch, Gagangir and Gulmarg over the past 18 months. Why have you not chaired any all-party meeting and taken the opposition parties into confidence?” Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said in a post on X.

Earlier in the day, PM Modi asserted that enemies have learnt what happens when 'sindoor' becomes gunpowder, and lauded India's armed forces for creating such a trap that Pakistan was forced to go down on its knees. In his first public address in Rajasthan after Operation Sindoor that was launched in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, the Prime Minister slammed Pakistan, and said in response to the attack, "we destroyed nine biggest terror hideouts in 22 minutes".

"The world and the enemies of the country have seen what happens when 'sindoor' turns into 'barood' [gunpowder]," he said at the public meeting in Palana, adding, "Those out to wipe out 'sindoor' were reduced to dust".
