Actor Faraz Khan, who played a key role in Tiger Shroff's 2023 film Ganapath, has accused Vashu Bhagnani's Pooja Entertainment of not paying his pending dues despite it being almost two years now. The actor threatened to expose the makers, and also warned of legal action against them.Faraz took to his Instagram handle on Wednesday to issue his official statement on the fiasco. "My name is Faraz Khan. I was hired by POOJA ENTERTAINMENT, for the Hindi feature film GANAPATH directed by Vikas Bahl, to play the role of Thabeel. My counterpart in the film, Armaan Khera, and I appear in nearly every scene together-like on-screen twins. He has been paid in full. I have not," he wrote. He stated that when he contacted the employees of Pooja Entertainment to address his concern, they "misled him". He went on to say, "ALL above-the-line cast and crew have been paid, many of them exorbitant fees. But when it comes to paying the 'small guy' -me-you choose to play games. This is not just unprofessional. It is shameful (sic).""Let the industry and the public know how Pooja Entertainment treats its actors: with dishonesty, disrespect, and delay. I will not be silenced or brushed aside (sic)," he added.Faraz then threatened that unless the production house does not clear out his pending dues along with a "public apology for mistreatment", he will file a legal complaint against them, speak to the media and "expose" them on every platform."Pay your people. Honour your contracts. Stop harassing independent artists," he concluded. In 2024, the Bhagnanis were in news after reports surfaced that the production house was under severe debt due to the failure of their big-budget films including Ganapath and Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan. Several cast and crew members associated with the production house claimed that they were not paid their remuneration, adding that the lead cast received their paychecks as promised. In June 2024, the Bhagnanis also sold off their swanky office in Mumbai's upscale Juhu to clear off Rs 250 crore debt.
